Constant economic and overseas pressures drive the need for manufacturing to reduce welding costs to stay competitive. In order to provide our customer base with the information needed to apply the necessary returns on investment as well as produce sample parts for assessment. EWA just completed construction of a welding and cutting technology center.

The center based in Waterford, Ct will provide live demonstrations and part solutions for automated welding and cutting applications. Customers will be able to see the latest advances in welding and cutting applications applied in real time to their parts. The center will house Hypertherm automated plasma cutting solutions, as well as Oxy fuel plate cutting driven by precision cutting table systems by Sector Technologies. MIG robotic and TIG robotic cell systems are presented by Panasonic and Lincoln Automation. All welding processes such as TIG, MIG, Pulse, Plasma and sub Arc will be represented by Lincoln, Miller and Thermal Arc.

Fully automated, PC controlled, precision, low amp, circumferential and linear welding systems from Weldlogics will be available for viewing.

EWA will accept requests for appointments beginning May 18th 2008 for “cutting and welding part application” assessment, as well as system demonstrations.
